KELLY'S POV For the past week, I've been spending more time with Diane and Mandy, and I've been really enjoying their company. However, I've been forced to put up with Billy Smith. On every lunch break, he'd come to our table, frown at me, talk to everyone else except me, and then leave exactly two minutes before the bell rang indicating the end of the meal. Still not acknowledging my existence, save for the occasional glare directed in my direction every now and then. It was beyond my comprehension what I had done to him to deserve such cruel punishment. I was well aware that I was the one who initially neglected first, but I didn't believe I deserve what he's doing to me now. Is it possible that I stepped on his ego? Billy sat across from me but didn’t even spare a glance at me but instead maintained his trademark scowl in my direction. The fact that I was refusing to be affected and that I didn't want to cry in front of this asshole was a major factor. I made the decision to be self
