Coco was with me in the kitchen, sitting on the floor, waiting for me to throw food on him. “Coco, I’ll just cook us some food to eat, okay?” I told him. “Stay here…” Cheol was still on the couch, still working with something on his laptop. I thought he had a bit of progress now. I noticed earlier that he couldn’t do his work properly because he kept on looking at me. I was just pretending that I was reading the recipe book but I knew that his full attention was on me, not on his laptop. I smiled as I turned on the stove and to start cooking. “Cheol, do you prefer basmati or brown rice?” “I eat anything. Just cook whatever you want to eat.” He answered. I was trying to make a good meal for him, and I hope he
