Grace tried as much as she could to pretend normal because she didn't want Zayden to know that she saw everything. But she was so naive that she didn't understand that Zayden wasn't a man to be fooled so easily. He knew the reason behind her hatred and fear.

They ate in utter silence. Grace was too afraid to speak, and Zayden had no idea about how he should start the conversation. For the first time, he was feeling bad for killing someone?
Why so?
Well, that's because Grace saw him. If only he would have killed him somewhere else. Now, he knew she would be hating him, and the worst part was that he couldn't do anything about it. It hurt him seeing that she wasn't even looking at him. Grace took both the plates and went inside the kitchen to clean them.
