Hazel couldn’t believe that they were standing at the gate waiting for Joshua to arrive home. The kidnappers showed Mandy no mercy when they decided that she was Denmark’s daughter. Yet, instead of going to the hospital to treat her injuries, Mandy changed into a beautiful dress so that she could thank Joshua. Her reason was obvious to Hazel, and she turned her head away as they got closer. Fred and Mandy had blocked the gate to the driveway, there was no way for Joshua to get around them. When he slowed down so that he wouldn’t hit them, Fred walked over to Joshua’s window. “Thank you so much for saving Mandy, Joshua.” Fred all smiled. He said as he waved his hands, “Let’s go in...” Before he could finish the sentence, Joshua’s car swooshed past him, leaving him with nothing but dust on his face.
