The room where they had gathered was heavy with tension. Eve, Vincent, and Elijah sat in silence then finally Vincent was the one to break it, "We are running out of time, and he is getting impatient." Eve nodded in agreement, her brow furrowed with worry. They had ventured into the treacherous depths of an ancient crypt hidden underneath the palace believing they had the key to releasing the dead but when they reached the heart of the crypt, the key they possessed had failed them. Elijah leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. His deep voice was laced with frustration. "We can't afford any more missteps. Where else could he have hidden it?
