Chapter 18
Vincent paced back and forth in his room. The old clock on the wall seemed to taunt him with its relentless ticking, a reminder that time was slipping through their fingers.
Elijah stood at the door for a moment watching Vincent before making his presence known, "Vincent, you need to calm down. Pacing around your room will solve nothing", He glanced around the room, "Where is Eve?"
Vincent stopped abruptly, turning to face Elijah, his eyes flickering with something Elijah couldn't understand, "She took a walk...She hopes to listen in...hear anything that would help in our course."
"Nothing has happened yet. Why are you so bothered?
