Chapter 2 Lisa walked magnetically to Herry, and since Herry would just stay where he was and won't come to her, she was ready to go to him, she decided to stand up and approach him. Immediately she got to Herry's side, she stretched her hand for a handshake with a professional smile on her face 'Hello, Mr. Herry!" She greeted sweetly. Herryglared at the hand for a while like it was disgusting, he made a despicable face and moved back a bit 'Who are you?" He asked, pretending not to know her. Lisa was shocked by his reaction, this was the first time this kind of thing would be happening to her. She had always gotten special attention, and ogled because of her beauty but Herrynot only care about her beauty but even disconcert her. Most especially, in front of his man! She was furious and she wished she could smash his face right then, but she knew better not to cause a scene. Lisa slowly retracted her hand, and her sweet face immediately turned aggressive and cold. If Herrywas the cold king, then she would be the icy queen! "My name is Lisa Medlock!" She seethed, and then, she turns her back and sauntered elegantly back to her seat. Herryrolled his eyes at her attitude, walking toward his office spinning chair 'Mine is HerryStanley!" He said coldly, laying his head on the headrest of his spinning chair. 'What can I do for you or better still, how may I help you, Miss Lisa?" He asked almost with no interest. Lisa once again felt disappointed " I am here to talk about the Colgate industry," she told, going straight to the point. If Herrywould keep his impassiveness, then she has no reason to let go of hers either! Herrysmirked and stood up, picking up his office phone and dialed a number "A cup of coffee please?" He spoke into the phone and ended the call. He then walked casually to the spinning chair, and he sat gently in front as he gazed directly at Lisa. 'I see what they said was right" he raised a brow. "...But don't you think it would be better if you just stay with your husband and give him kids like a good wife should?" He asked mockingly, relaxing his head on the headrest. It was his way of deriding her. But Lisa being a famous businesswoman herself got the message immediately, and instead of flaring up as any other lady would do, she only revealed a cold smile and crossed her leg like she was the owner of the company. "Yes, you are right Mr. Herry but don't you also think it would be better if you too leave the Colgate industry and face your wife so you can be able to make her give you baby? Or don't you think your wife might run away to another man at this rate?" She threw it back to him the same size he threw to her. Herryburst into laughter, he laughed for a while but it was a burst of strange laughter that sent chills down the spines and made people shiver involuntarily. He suddenly stopped laughing, and rubbed his face with his hand. "I see you are not too weak then but Miss Lisa... I'm not trying to be harsh or anything but I just want to give you a piece of advice..." He stopped and shifted in his seat, after which he crossed his legs too and stared into Lisa's eyes. '...Why do you even want this Colgate industry in the first place?" He asked calmly but his voice was chilling. Lisa cocked her head to the back and smirked 'Why are you asking me that Mr. Herry?" "Well... for my advice to be effective on you and so that you can put it to good use. I need to know your purpose for wanting this company," Herry said. Lisa sat comfortably on the sofa and relaxed her head "Ahh! Mr. Herry! You are asking too many questions and I think being a teacher would suit you better than heading the Colgate industry," she gjackce back into his eyes. 'So Mr. Herry. Why don't you step down and let me head the Colgate industry, I have so many people I can introduce you to and I promise they would get you a good teaching job or what do you think?" She asked with a playful but insultive smirk on her pretty face. HerryClenched his fist, raising his brow "Do you think a weak woman like you can lead the Colgate industry? A woman with no sense of respect?? I'm sure you would be stepped on and disposed of like trash, I fear you are not capable Miss Lisa," he said with a knowing smug on his face. Her blood boiled, she hated being called weak! She was strong and she knew it! Lisa immediately felt like whipping Herryto a pulp so he could know how strong she was but then, she knew he wasn't talking about such strength! She wanted to retaliate when a lady in her twenties abruptly entered the office. In her hand was a glass tray containing a cup of hot freshly brewed coffee, she bowed to the Man in a suit who was standing by the door before walking toward to her boss, Herry. "It's for me...." Lisa chuckled, stretching her hand toward the young lady, and took the glass before drinking it in one go! 'Leave!" She then said authoritatively, and the lady was left in confusion. She was sure the drink was for her boss! She looked at Herrywho was calmly looking at the scene in front of him like he was not a bit concerned, and she instantly felt relieved as she bowed to him "I would go get another cup, sir' she said and turned to leave but Herry's voice stopped her in her track. "No need!" He stopped her. "What?" The lady looked back immediately, thinking she had heard him wrong. She knew how much Herryloved to drink coffee whenever he had a visitor. So why this? "I don't need coffee for now, I have got the more interesting things to do!" He said, now smirking at Lisa who only rolled her eyes and looked away. "Ah, ok sir!" The lady rushed away from the room while Lisa stood up immediately and walked toward Herry. "Mr. Herry, I'm assuring you that I would defeat you in this contest!" She spoke and turned her back, walking toward the door like the real boss lady. "Wait!" She heard when she was about to open the door, and she turned to face him. 'See how I celebrate your defeat, Miss Lisa!" Herry said in his stringent voice, sneering at her much to Lisa's terror.
