When he looked down, he saw two dead pheasants. "How did they die? Did a snake bite them?"

"I've checked. There are no wounds on their bodies at all. I think they died because of the heat. Look at how listless the other pheasants and wild ducks are. I'm worried they might start dropping one by one. What should we do? Do you have any ideas, Ryan?"
