Chapter 863
Fires were burning around and inside the shack. Through the sparse bark curtain, Ryan could see Sherry lying in bed. The light from the fire shone on her fair face.
"Sherry, are you feeling any better?" Ryan asked timidly.
Just as he expected, Sherry started firing off like a machine gun. "I was fine, but hearing your voice just made me angry again! Get lost!"
Ryan felt his scalp tingle and his heart race. Sherry was truly frightening when she lashed out like this.
"If that's the case, I'll leave. Stop being angry. It's bad for your health," Ryan advised.
"Get lost!" Sherry roared.
She wouldn't have been this mad if Ryan had spoken up for her. How could he suggest letting Nina rest for two days? Nina wasn't the only one who was tired. What about her?
