Ryan gestured upstream, prompting the dwarves to advance with a mighty stride.
He couldn't help but laugh at the sight of the dwarves carrying Camelia. It reminded him of ants carrying a giant tree.
He wondered how Camelia would react when she woke up and found herself being carried like this.
Ryan took the three crossbow bolts to the river for cleaning. Once he was done, he stored the bolts away. Then, he slung the compound crossbow over his back and sheathed his dagger before catching up to the dwarves.
With each of Ryan's steps equaling three of the dwarves', he soon found himself walking ahead of them.
Ryan was anxious when he saw the dwarves walking so slowly, but there was nothing he could do. They were already walking as fast as they could.
