Ryan made his way upstream. He waded through the turbulent current. If the weather did not improve, the campsite would surely be flooded by the next morning.
Fortunately, the water remained shallow. It reached below his shins. Still, he was vigilant. It would be dangerous if he fell into a pit.
To be safe, he cut off a piece of wood and used it as a stick to prod the ground before him to avoid falling into any pits.
Finally, he arrived at the campsite. The sight shocked him. The campsite was surrounded by water, and a third of the bunker was submerged.
The boars risked drowning at any time. They struggled to keep their snouts above water and grunted.
