"How deep will the pond be?" Camelia asked.
Ryan tried to estimate. "The pond should have a radius and a depth of ten feet. Otherwise, it'll be too shallow for the fish to survive."
As Camelia traced her steps along the edge of the pond, an idea struck her. "We won't need to dig so deep if we convert the pond into a flowing stream!"
"Flowing stream?" Nina was puzzled. "Can the pond be turned into a stream? It won't be a pond anymore if there's running water."
"Give me that!" Camelia snatched the wooden shovel from Ryan and drew another canal in a different direction.
"The water flows from that side into the pond and out from this side. It would create a flowing stream!"
Sherry pictured the water flowing in and out and was doubtful. "If the water can flow in and out, wouldn't the fishes be able to do the same?"
