"There's just a bit of dirt on your face. That's all," Ryan said.
"Where?" Sherry had always been quite concerned about her appearance, so she wanted to find a mirror to check.
It was then that they realized they didn't have any mirrors there.
She fetched a bowl of water and held it up in the sunlight. When she saw her own darkened face and nose, she burst into laughter.
After drinking the water, Ryan suddenly felt the urge to relieve himself.
Just as he was struggling to get up, he grimaced. "Ouch!"
Every movement tugged at his wound, and it felt like there was a needle stabbing into his bone.
"What are you trying to get? Just tell me, why move around?" Sherry's heart ached for him. She came over to help him sit back down.
"You only had the arrow removed yesterday, and today you want to be all lively and hop around? Do you think that's possible?"
