Chapter 24 “W--- what do you mean, sir?” Nicole asked when she heard what Andrew said. Had he gone insane? What was on the food, and it looked like this man had already lost his mind? Her eyebrows were drawn together while she was looking at the man who was drinking his cup of tea and sitting in front of her. Andrew shook his head. “Am I not clear? I want us not to pretend anymore. Let’s make this deal a real thing,” Andrew said while looking directly in her eyes. Her lips twitch because of what the man had said. “Seriously?” That was the only word she could utter. Andrew looked so serious. There was no trace that he was just trying to trick her. “Dead serious.” “What? Sir, don’t you think you are just getting confused because of what’s happening. I know that they are trying to pressure you but this isn’t something we can just do. There are a lot of things that we should consider especially since we just met the other night.
