Lucky's POV Eliza cupped her mouth with widened eyes. "Oh my God!" "Is that a good thing?" I violently shook my head at Claire. "It's never a good thing, Claire. He keeps on messing with my life." Slowly, Eliza grinned and laughed. "I think he's still into you." Irritation filled me. "But he's in a relationship with Zandra Smith, you said." Disappointment flickered in their eyes. "Well…" Claire cleared her throat. "We're not sure about that." "Yeah." Eliza agreed. I shook my head. "It doesn't matter to me anymore. All I want is to avoid him but fate keeps playing with me." "Maybe you guys are meant for each other?" I almost puke because of what Claire said. "That's absurd, Claire." She chuckled. "Ever heard of the word second chance?" I shook my head again. "Second chances are not applicable to us." "Did he hurt you, Lucky?" Eliza's voice sounds worried. I heaved a sigh and looked down. "It's a long story.
