Lucky's POV
I was able to tell Camilla about the problem. She patiently listened. She patiently comforted me. My heart felt so heavy although I couldn't cry anymore. My tears have dried and even if I tried to cry, my tears won't show up. Only the pain that's burdening my heart.
"You can't tell Damien because you're ashamed about your dad's crime? Lucky, we don't know if Mrs. Smith was telling the truth."
I shook my head as I stared at Camilla. "We're both women, Camilla. And I saw the truth in her eyes. I saw it with my own eyes. She hates my father so much."
"If that's true, then that's probably the reason why Mr. Smith did that to your father."
I chewed my bottom lip and sigh. "I don't know. It doesn't make sense, Cami. Why not punish dad right after he committed the crime? And Zandra died… I don't know what to think anymore, Cami."
"Don't stress yourself."
"How? Even if I thought about it over and over again, there's one thing I'm sure about. All of these started because of my dad.
