At the edge of the battlefield, with the artifact aglow in their hands, stood Liam and Chloe. The village behind them has hope and fear combined. It had brought them such a long way, this prophecy of the Oracle; they both knew that it had been used so far, but still something more was to come in which somebody was to be sacrificed, as described in part of the prophecy. Dread settled over the group as the forces of Shadow began to gather at the horizon. Chloe swung a look around at their friends, their allies, each one standing here ready to fight for their home.
