Calantha's ears were ringing constantly. She shook her head and patted her ears, but it was useless. It was so loud, and she felt her eardrums burst as a result of the loud sound. Apart from the buzzing from the explosion, she couldn't hear anything else. She got up from the ground and leaned against a wall to walk forward. She suddenly felt pain all over her body and somehow dizzy. The situation outside was even worse; she had already seen some people collapse. "Could this be a terrorist attack?" Calantha thought it was unlikely. If it were terrorists, they wouldn't choose a candy factory; they would target crowded places. "Could it be a machine malfunction?" This also seemed unlikely. A malfunction wouldn't cause such a huge explosion. Besides, Calantha felt the explosion happened on the second floor. If it had occurred on the first floor, Curtis and his men wouldn't have been blown away; the first floor was well-built. It showed how much care they had for their worker
