Calantha and Henry stayed far behind Curtis and his group. Henry knew where his mom was, and Curtis was there to see her, so they didn't need to be too close—just get to the same destination. Henry's mom was a supervisor and had her own office on the second floor of the factory, separate from the common workers' break area. Curtis and his men took the elevator, but Calantha and Henry chose the stairs to better observe the personnel distribution.
