120 Unnecessary Commotion
"I've said my piece. Believe it or not, it's up to you,"
Calantha said. "Freiherr, you should know, this house was voluntarily given to me by you when we divorced, and now the house is in my name. You have no authority over this house. If I don't let you in, you can't even come near the door."
Freiherr thought Calantha was saying this to buy time for the man she was hiding.
"Calanhna, where did you hide that wild man?" Freiherr looked around. "Let him come out; I want to have a man-to-man showdown with him."
Calantha found it ridiculous. Freiherr only had this much courage; if he had encountered someone stronger, he would have backed down long ago.
"No, I'll find him myself, so he won't escape," Freiherr said, heading towards the bedroom.
Calantha stretched out her arm to stop Freiherr. "Freiherr Everstein, this is my home. If you wander around here, I won't be polite to you."
