CHAPTER 80 TRYING TO BE FINE

SABRINA'S POV   I entered the classroom and met Amber already in school. I walked up to her and greeted her, but the way she responded was unlike her; it was unusual. I dropped my bag and sat beside her. I tried to start a conversation, but she wasn't giving me listening ears; she just seems distant, like she doesn't want to have anything to do with me. She was being like that with the others too; she was not talking with anybody, and it really feels weird.    "Amber, are you okay?? What's wrong, you can tell me?" I said to her, and she smiled, the smile I know better than anyone that it was fake; she was only trying to make me believe that she is okay.   "There's absolutely nothing wrong with me; I'm okay, just the weather, I think."
