AMBER'S POV I took off my dark shades, which matched perfectly with my knee-length straight black gown. I walked elegantly into the house, some of the workers' eyes darting towards my direction. I intentionally selected my outfit, with delicate diamond accessories, to give myself the aura that I actually didn't have inside of me. I didn't want to feel like my true self, with simple clothes that didn't command any attention. Today had to be different. I needed to be someone else.
