CHAPTER 59 MALICIOUS RUMORS

SABRINA POV I walked through the school hallways, trying to ignore the whispers and stares. But it was hard to avoid the feeling of being under a microscope. Suddenly, a group of girls approached me. "Hey, Sabrina, I heard you're trying to seduce Missy's man," one of them said, her voice dripping with malice. I rolled my eyes. "What are you talking about?" They didn't even really know me, this was just my second time in school. But they just laughed. "Don't play dumb, Sabrina. We know all about your little game." I felt my face heat up with anger. "I don't know what you're talking about," I repeated. But they just kept taunting me, calling me names like "homewrecker" and "seductress". It wasn't until I heard someone call me "maid" that I realized what was going on. Missy must have told them that I was the maid, not her sister. "What is going on" my voice came out colder than I expected. As I placed both of my hands in the skirt pocket. "You- why are you acting so superior?" O
