"Be careful" it read.
Sitting by myself in my study, I gazed at the pile of papers before me. The words blended together, making it harder for me to concentrate. Unwillingly, my mind kept returning to Sabrina. Frustrated, I clutched the edge of my desk. It was time to put her out of my thoughts. I had to keep my distance and gather my thoughts. Even my closest friends were starting to notice my behavior, as Sebastian's visit had made evident.
I would remain at a distance. I will no longer need to call her into my presence or run needless errands. I could take care of my own business and find other interests to divert my attention from the peculiar attraction she seemed to have for me.
