CHAPTER 21 A POSSIBLE CURE

SABRINA'S POV With my heart thumping in my chest, I accelerated my pace out of the café. I didn't turn around even though I could hear Missy calling after me in a stern and irate voice. After all that had transpired today, I didn't want to get into another fight right now. I grabbed inside my bag and fumbled for my phone, my hands shaking a little. I had to go in order to decompress. Breathing in short, sharp spurts, I hailed a cab without thinking. I jumped in and slammed the door behind me as soon as the car reached the curb.
