Chapter 33

She was making the bed when she noticed blood stains on the bed sheet. She traced it down as tiny bits of blood led out of the bed area but stopped just at the door. She also noticed a necklace that she had given to him on his birthday ripped off as though it got cut and fell to the floor, half of it hanging on the door knob. Something didn't seem right. She grabbed her phone and ran out of the room in a hurry to the receptionist office and asked if they had seen him around but they told her they didn't see her. She rushed out to check if she could catch a glimpse of him just in case he had gone out of the building but she didn't see him. She looked left, right and front but couldn't see him. She rushed back into the hospital building and ran up the stairs, entered the ward and picked up her phone and card on the table. She checked the neighboring wards again but still didn't find him.
