CHAPTER 39 VISITING THE PAST

Samantha sat on her bed, her hands resting on her belly. She giggled childishly at the thought of soon becoming a mother. She still couldn't believe that a little one was growing inside her—her little one. She had all these emotions that she couldn't understand, let alone explain. She kept cradling her abdomen, overwhelmed by a whirlwind of emotions. As she closed her eyes, she allowed herself to fully feel and experience the multiple sensations that coursed through her body. The first feeling was a delicate sensation of butterflies fluttering and dancing in the depths of her womb. She realized it wasn't unpleasant, but it wasn't the most pleasant feeling she had experienced. But each time she felt those sensations, her heart would swell and blossom with love. It came so naturally that Samantha wasn't sure how to react. Her smile was wiped clean when she thought about her mother. Did she feel happy to have her? She must have. Samantha spent most of her childhood believing she had k
