CHAPTER 122: FRESH PERSPECTIVE

Jake was out for work with Nate early the following day, leaving Samantha home alone. She tossed on the bed and stretched lazily, smiling at the memory of the previous night. Jake had shown her just how much he loved her through his lovemaking. Samantha flushed at the memory of it. It was a little over ten in the morning when she finally made her way downstairs. She fixed a quick sandwich for breakfast and settled in the kitchen to eat. Looking around, Samantha felt the house was suddenly odd with their recent family settings. Done with her breakfast, she tossed her plates in the dishwasher and strolled around the house. From her architectural eye, there was nothing wrong with the building; it just didn't sit well with her anymore. Firstly, the house held memories she would instead do without.
