Chapter 67 – Overactive Imagination

Jacob panicked when he could no longer track his friend's scent and was worried that something had happened to them in the short time that he received the alert from Gavin that an Ogre was in the forest. It was rare for them to travel so far out of their element, but it did occur. It seemed like it had been forever when he finally got a response back from Gavin. Gavin: About a mile from her house off to the right, not too far from where the stump is blocking the path. Jacob breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that they were okay. Jacob: Are you both okay? Gavin: Yeah, we're fine. But you're not going to believe what we're in. Teddy had stopped in the path ahead where Gavin had given them the details of where they were and was stunned by what he was looking at. Jacob slowed down as he caught the last remnants of the Ogre's stench hit his nose and covered it with his shirt. Jacob turned and looked at what Teddy had been captivated by, and his eyes widened in awe and surprise.
