Chapter 65 – Three Friends

"What were you thinking taking on six wolves? I understand you have Alpha strength, but it's been a long time since you have been in combat and dealing with more than one wolf at a time," Raymond said quietly, not wanting to draw attention to their conversation. Jacob sighed as he shook his head. "I was worried they were after Cassidy, and I couldn't fight them in my human form," he told them. "Do you think she saw you shift into your wolf?" Teddy asked as he started threading the needle he was about to use to sew up some of the gashes that Jacob had received during the fight. Jacob shook his head. "No, but I was the reason she came outside; at least my wolf was the reason." Teddy looked at him peculiarly. "Your wolf?" Jacob nodded. "She saw my wolf getting ganged up on and wanted to help." Teddy and Raymond exchanged looks between them before Teddy started stitching up Jacobs's gash. "What's the point of even stitching him up? It's going to heal and not leave a mark," Raymond
