Chapter 27 – Running Out of Time

Jacob laid Cassidy down on the ground to access her wounds. Her left shoulder was pulled out of the socket, and her leg was broken. He could smell blood and noticed blood running down the side of her head. It took everything he had not to start licking Cassidy’s wounds to help her heal quicker.
