Chapter 109 – Cassidy’s Nightmare

Cassidy whimpered as she tossed and turned in the bed, trying to escape the nightmare she’s had since she was a little girl. Her heart began to ache as her brows furrowed; she thought she was past this pain of loss and abandonment when she hadn’t been having any of these nightmares for the last few weeks. She found herself once again sitting in the backseat of the car on the way to see the cabin and meet her Pop Pop for the very first time. She sighed to herself and looked out the window as the normal conversation that had occurred for the last sixteen years was going on.
