Chapter 30
Darius pulled me over to his bike which was parked a short distance away from where he had pulled me. I saw his friend’s bikes around but none of them were within my line of sight. I looked around unsure of whether I wanted to get on his bike. I had never been on a bike before and a part of me was a little bit apprehensive.
“For someone who talks a big game, I would have never expected you to be scared of a bike,” Darius mused and I crossed my arms over my chest. “Don’t worry, if you hold onto me tight then I won’t let you fall.”
“I’m not scared of your stupid bike,” I mumbled under my breath. “I need to tell Serena that I’m leaving. I came here with her and it would be rude to leave without her.”
“Serena won’t look for you,” he said with such conviction that I couldn’t help but raise a brow and wonder how he was so sure about it.
