Chapter 455

Naomi noticed that the cabinet by the bed was filled with fresh fruits and supplements. She had a general idea of what was going on. She walked unhurriedly into the room. Brendan looked up and greeted her, "You're here." In his arms, Bryson was so engrossed in playing with the Lego blocks that he didn't notice Naomi's arrival. As Naomi hummed in response to Brendan, her phone rang in her pocket. It was Christine calling. "Mom," Naomi answered. Christine's voice came through. "Naomi, I took Bryson to the hospital to see Brendan this afternoon. But I accidentally sprained my ankle. Bryson refused to come back, so after treating my ankle, I came home first. "If you're back from Hepshurn Village, please pick up Bryson on your way." Naomi replied, "I'm already here. I'll take Bryson home shortly." After the call, Naomi saw that Bryson still hadn't noticed her and was totally absorbed in his Lego toys. She was visibly annoyed. She put her phone in her bag and walked over to the bed
