Worried that Mason would say no to that, she added, "We've signed a contract. I will not break my promise. I wouldn't dare to."
Right now, Mason was being quite nice to her because they had come to an agreement between the both of them. At the same time, she hadn't done anything to provoke him.
If she actually regretted her decision and got on his bad side, it would be a piece of cake for him to do her in.
