Emily slowly closed her eyes after the phone call. Cameron stroked her hair, using his actions to apologize for his ruthlessness and impulsiveness. But it hadn't entirely been an impulsive reaction. He had wanted to punish her to make her submit so that she would stay away from Zach. However, she'd had enough of it this time around. No matter what he said, she wouldn't give in to him. Annoyed, she moved her head away. Cameron irritated her so much that she didn't want him to touch her. Noticing her mood, he quickly lifted his hand. "Fine, fine. I won't touch you. Are you going to shower?" Emily kept quiet. After the argument, she didn't want to speak to him anymore. He accepted her silent treatment. He cleaned up the room and grabbed his pajamas before heading to the bathroom. While he was in the shower, Emily forced herself to get up from bed despite the discomfort. She didn't want to stay with Cameron, but she knew that he wouldn't let her go home after what had happened.
