It wasn't until Cameron's anger gradually dissipated that he realized the fact that there had indeed been some amorous tension between him and Scarlett these two days. He was also in the wrong for not dealing with Scarlett's advances in time. At midnight, Cameron lifted his head and glanced at Emily's room, wondering if that heartless woman was able to fall asleep. He said, "Honey, I'm still downstairs. Come down if your anger has simmered down. Let's talk in person." Upstairs, Emily hadn't actually fallen asleep.
