"Alright."
From beginning to end, Clara's face showed no ripples of emotion. She responded lightly as if it were no big deal at all.
Sharon exhaled deeply, feeling as if she had punched a bag of cotton, which only added to her already foul mood.
"You better keep your word," she said, glaring at Clara with a fierce expression.
Clara chuckled, her voice cold. "Stop coming here and complaining to me. If you are so free, how about going and reminding Matthew instead?"
"I'm sorry. I need to rest now. You can leave."
Sharon felt humiliated by Clara's expulsion and retorted loudly. "I am your elder. How dare you speak to me so rudely?"
Clara's face remained unchanged, her gaze steady and composed.
"Elder? It's so funny. Matthew and I have been divorced for quite some time now. Didn't you know?"
"At most, you're just an older woman to me, an uninvited guest. As the host, is there anything wrong for me to ask you to leave?"
"If you can't understand, I'll call the nurse."
