Chapter 123 Clara's Request
Although Aiden couldn't open the thing, he had already scanned it with a metal detector. Inside, there was just some worthless junk, no gold, nothing valuable. There was no way it contained anything rare or significant.
Cheryl noticed how Clara couldn't take her eyes off the box and cautiously ventured. "Clara, you really are a dutiful daughter. This must be something very valuable inside!"
Clara ignored her completely, meticulously examining the box. Only after confirming that it was exactly as she remembered did she finally feel relieved.
