Freya Lawson's fingers clenched around a silver needle, ready to defend herself when a resonant, sophisticated voice filled the vehicle. "Ah, a reunion." Lifting her gaze, Freya met the man's eyes, and recognition dawned after a moment's pause. "You?" He was the one who intervened on her behalf outside of Culinary Crown Court, leaving Ethan Austin's visage battered. Now, with her facing him squarely, the angular elegance of his features was clearly evident. The man was arrestingly handsome. He sat clad in a meticulously tailored black shirt, his elongated legs, ensconced in refined black trousers, stretching out effortlessly. The gleam from his polished black shoes was hard to miss. His whole demeanor, dignified and commanding, resembled that of an aristocratic gentleman. The aristocrat, Bradley Austin, held her wrist gently yet firmly, revealing a high-end obsidian wristwatch. From his garb alone, Freya could tell he was of significant stature. Noticing her evaluating look, Bra
