Bruce searched the house, sweat pouring from his brow in concern. He was curious as to where his daughter had gone.
His face turned pale. He knew that if he couldn't find her, the Lawson family would vanish from this city.
"I have no idea where Freya went," he said, his voice full of anxiety.
Frederick, however, paid him no attention and instead turned around to leave and inform Bradley of the situation.
Mr. Austin, we have looked everywhere in the Lawson home for Mrs. Austin, but we have found no trace of her. I'm afraid she is not in the Lawson house," Frederick reported.
Bradley's face turned gloomy, as they still hadn't located her after almost two hours of his waiting here.
"Ask more people to search for her and leave no stone unturned until you find her!" he commanded in a stern tone.
"Yes, Mr. Austin," Frederick promptly responded. Bradley's eyes turned icy and devoid of any emoti

Freya pretended to be distraught and tearfully claimed, "My sister just bullied me and said she wants to kill me. She doesn't want me to come home anymore."
Bradley's mood immediately soured after hearing this.
He raised her chin and looked her over closely, observing that her entire face had a red mark.
"She slapped your face?"
Freya tightened her lips and nodded, "She slapped me several times. Oh, Bradley, that hurt so bad."
Bradley's expression darkened in an instant.
"Did you run away from home because she slapped you?" he asked.
"Freya was scared! Freya doesn't want to feel the pain anymore," Freya pretended she had no idea what was going on while stealing glances at Bradley, who was indeed fuming.
She had a suspicion that the Lawson family was doomed if Mr. Austin ever became enraged.
He immediately called Frederick and said sternly, "Take some people to the Lawson family and teach

Freya flagged down Patrick and told him to pull over at a crossroads close to the Lawson residence. "Here it is. Thank you for giving me a ride, Mr. Perry."
As she prepared to exit, Freya opened the car door. 
"Miss, would you mind giving me your number? I'd like to treat you to dinner someday" To see the girl's beauty more clearly, Patrick squinted his eyes and turned on the car's lights.
Over the years, he had seen many stunning women in the club scene, but she was the first one he had ever met who was so flawless and innocent.
"I'm sorry, I don't have a cellphone," Freya said. She also thought this was a pretty lame reason not to give him her number, but she still didn't want to.
Patrick snickered at this, as he found it hard to believe anyone in the 21st century would not have a cell phone.
Meanwhile, a black Rolls-Royce parked elegantly in front of the Lawson residence. Bradley sat in the car, his face expressionless.
Bradley didn't bother with a disguise because no one could see inside the car through the specially modified windows.
He was dressed casually, with his black silk shirt unbuttoned to show off his attractively tanned skin. His tall, muscular frame slouched contentedly on the black leather seat as he closed his eyes.
The moonlight reflected off his handsome features, making them stand out even more.
Frederick stepped out of the Lawson mansion and gently tapped on the window.
Bradley rolled down the window after he opened his eyes, reached over to grab his sunglasses from the passenger side, and then looked outside.
"There is no sign of Mrs. Austin there," said Frederick.
There was a chill in Bradley's gaze. The man squinted his eyes and said in a chilly tone, "Tell Bruce to hand her over, or I'll make him and his whole family disappear from the capital!"
"Yes," Frederick replied.
Frederick barged his way with his bodyguards into the Lawson mansion.
Bradley's expression darkened. He had come for the express purpose of picking up the young lady who was to become his bride, but she had vanished while under the protection of the Lawson family.
"Where on earth did she go?" he wondered.
Bradley rested his hand on the car window, surrounded by a dark aura.
Bruce was very frightened when Frederick and his bodyguards barged into the Lawson mansion.
"We really don't know where Freya went!" Bruce said. Bruce returned to the house and was informed by Sophie that Freya had disappeared. The Austins were now demanding her presence, and he was at a loss as to how to respond.
Frederick relayed Bradley's message to Bruce the way it was. "Mr. Austin said that if you don't hand her over, your family will disappear from the capital."
Bruce's forehead was damp with cold sweat, and his face was flushed with worry. With anger in his voice, he asked Sophie, "What have you been doing at home? Why you couldn't even keep an eye on a living person?"
Sophie, too, was going crazy. She had only been gone for a little while in the afternoon, but she had never expected Freya to disappear.
Bruce ground his teeth together in anger. He looked at Frederick and said, "Please assure Mr. Austin that I will immediately send people to search for Freya, and we will find her before dawn."

Meanwhile, inside the car, Patrick locked the doors and pressed Freya to give him her phone number.
"I don't mind sleeping in this car with you if you don't give it to me," he said. 
Freya's brows furrowed in surprise as Patrick demonstrated his unwillingness to give up. As an idea sprang to her mind, she bit her lip and gave him a number.
Patrick tried calling the number she gave him but got no answer or ringing.
"You're not lying to me, are you?" he asked incredulously.
Freya replied sweetly, "I was in a rush when I left home, so I l forgot to bring my phone. I'll keep your phone number in my contacts.
"Really?" Patrick said as he was only sort of convinced.
Freya agreed with a sincere nod. "I assure you the phone number is real."
The number wasn't hers, of course.
While Patrick was doubtful, he followed through on his word and let her out of the car. Freya made a sharp left into an alley, hoping Patrick wouldn't follow.
The number she just gave Patrick belonged to Lola. Freya knew her sister might be out with Ethan right now and wouldn't have time to answer, so she was therefore unconcerned about being found out about the truth.
Freya was on her own in the middle of the night.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her, meaning someone was tailing her.
She squinted her eyes and hurried along without looking around.
She heard footsteps approaching from behind, so she slowed and turned into a narrow alley on the other side.
When the bullies following Freya saw her turn down a dead-end alley, they all smiled maliciously.
They thought the girl wouldn't be able to get out of there because of how well-hidden the place was. 
Freya remained motionless as her attackers approached her and reached out with lecherous hands.
Suddenly, Freya turned to look at them and vanished without a trace.
"Damn! Where did she go?"
Those hooligans all turned to see if they could find the pretty girl who had just been there. At one point, they even wondered if she was a ghost.
Every single one of them started trembling in terror.
Before they could react, a shadow darted by, and one of them was promptly kicked to the ground.
"Ah! She's a ghost!" someone exclaimed.
With a chilly expression on her face, Freya asked the group, "Why are you following me?" 
"It's late at night, and people are either being followed for pay or for fun," A thug chuckled. "We all want to see what you could bring us. 
All the hooligans burst out laughing.
The lead punk said, "Catch her. I'll have some fun with her tonight."
Following their leader's order, the thugs all charged at Freya.
She quickly spun and kicked the first thug in the stomach, knocking him to the ground. She slapped the second thug when he came at her, and she stabbed the third one with a silver needle she had in her hand.
Within a short time, every single one of the thugs was on the floor, moaning in agony.
Freya slapped her hands together. "You guys are so confident in yourselves that you think you can rob or assault people. Well, the truth is embarrassing."
As the scene unfolded, the gang's leader drew a dagger from his waist and ran toward Freya. "Let me show you how I'm going to deal with you, you evil woman."
Freya kicked him in the face before he could get close to her.
"Ah!" A shrill scream cut through the darkness.
Freya marched directly at him and stomped viciously on his genitalia.
The suffering man cried, "Please, I beg you, spare me!"
Freya stepped on him harder and harder until he showed a twisted expression.
"If you want to rob again, you should learn better what you have got and who your are messing with," she advised.
Freya finished her words by stabbing him in several places with the silver needles in her hand.
The thought crossed her mind, "I'll make sure that anyone who tries to bully me meets a terrible fate!"
