Chapter 109 Cursed by Clashing Fates
Ah, this is the woman my client hired me to get rid of. Cain's client had paid him 10,000 as a deposit for the task of getting rid of Freya. If he succeeded, Cain would be paid 50,000.

Cain looked away and stroked his beard before pulling out a disc of some sort from his pocket. Then, he began mumbling random words.
The disc, which resembled a compass, had a pointer that began to spin. Cain closed his eyes and chanted something that, when it ended, made the pointer stop.
Everyone stared at the compass. Suddenly, Cain opened his eyes and stared at Freya.
"Father, did you find the thing?" Lydia swiftly asked.

Cain narrowed his eyes and solemnly declared, "It was not a thing that cursed your daughter, but a person."
