Alexander took a step closer, his presence intoxicating. "To meet?" "William Wilson." "Come again?" Initially, Alexander thought that he heard something wrong. But when he saw Scarlett's eyes which were looking everywhere but at him, he understood. The next moment his temper flared like a volcano. His face darkened. His eyes flashed with a mix of anger and worry. From last night, he knew that the woman whom his father desperately wanted to kill was Scarlett. Without uttering a word, he grabbed Scarlett's wrist with an iron steel grip. Then he yanked her towards him, their bodies colliding. His nails dug into her soft and fair skin. The hard hold left severe marks on her skin. The sudden pull caused the waves of pain through her, making her gasp. "How dare you?" He shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice a thunderous roar that echoed in the room. His face was so close to her. She even felt his hot breath on her body.
