Even though she was downhearted to leave, she put on a smile and sat down in the car. Just to start a new journey in her life.
After two hours
"When will we reach?" Scarlett asked, trying to bring down the tension in the air.
Specks of dust seemed to dance in the shaft of afternoon sunlight that slanted through the window.
"We are going to reach there soon," Marcus said finally.
Meanwhile, Scarlett was trying to start a conversation but he didn't reciprocate her efforts.
She didn't know what to say to him. After whatever happened or was going to happen she felt awkward and blundering.
"Do you want to say something?" Marcus asked, his eyes fixed on the road.
She tried to think of things to say but nothing came, and if something did come she probably couldn't say it.
"No! I will ask Mr Wilson myself," She said subsequently.
"That's your choice. But there is no going back now. Although he will not accept it, he has started trusting you. Never break that trust, Scarlett
