Stella put the clothes on his lap and unbuttoned his shirt. In just a few seconds, she had unbuttoned his shirt. Months of caring for him had trained her dexterity. All of a sudden, Jasper clasped her hand. He took off his own shirt, leaving only his undershirt on. "Let me help you with your pants. We're married anyway, right?" Stella squatted in front of him as she said this. Jasper made a gesture, indicating that he'd do it himself. She genuinely wanted to help him, but Jasper was very stubborn. She knew that he didn't want to trouble her, so all she could do was respect his decision. Taking the clothes off his lap, she told him, "Then I'll go to the bathroom and wait for you." Turning on the tap, she adjusted the water temperature and took off her clothes. She stood under the shower and let the water run down her body.
