"Eli, he might ask you about his past. Just pretend that you don't know anything, understand?" Stella Grace instructed.  Eli Wayne did not believe it. "Will he ask about that? No way!"  "It'll be good if he didn't.  But what if? So remember to just pretend," Stella reminded her again. "Okay. They're going to confiscate my phone now," Eli said. She hung up and handed her phone to Jasper Milton's service personnel. She was led to Jasper's office. Jasper was behind his desk, staring into blank space, as though deep in thought. "Chief, Dr. Wayne is here," Lieutenant Shine reported. Jasper picked himself up. "Let her in." Lieutnant Shine pushed the door open. Puzzled, Eli walked in.  Jasper had his poker face on, he was inscrutable.  "Have a seat." Just those three words were domineering enough.. Eli sat, she lowered her head as she faced Jasper. Jasper got straight to the point. "Take it easy. I just want t
