The bullet pierced through his chest, and blood dyed Joseph's silver coat red immediately.  "Joseph!" Waverly's eyes were bloodshot, and her roaring voice was choked. He looked at her, and wanted to smile, but he didn't have the energy to do so.  He fell a few steps back, and leaned against the window. The sea breeze tousled his hair into a mess.  "Let go of me!" Waverly struggled, but they were too strong and she couldn't escape.  "Push him down, and make sure he dies," said the person who was holding Waverly captive.  "No!"
