Jennifer wasn't naive.
She knew Daniel wanted nothing to do with her, so she dialed Charlene instead of calling him directly.
"Jennifer? What's wrong?"
Charlene casually picked up the call after applying a face mask.
"Charlene, come pick me up. I'm at the Inferno Bar."
Jennifer wasn't pretending. She was a little drunk.
