Chapter 923
Trystan moved to stand across from Megan. Before sitting down, he pulled out a chair for Bethany.
"Take a seat," he said.
"Thanks," Bethany responded softly, settling into the chair. For some reason, she couldn't bring herself to look Megan in the eye, her palms already sweaty.
Megan sneered. "You two are something else. Three years, and you're still going strong."
Trystan and Bethany stayed quiet.
Megan, however, started talking like they were old friends. She turned to Bethany. "Beth, has he treated you well these three years? No new flames, right? Just so you know, good-looking and rich guys can be trouble. You've got to keep your guard up."
Still, neither Trystan nor Bethany spoke.
