Chapter 76
Bethany immediately understood Greta's question. She guessed that this had been Trystan's intention.
She looked exasperatedly in the direction of the living room and raised her voice on purpose. "I'm not going to continue with the treatment because I don't want any entanglements with anybody."
She knew Trystan well. She knew that if she said that, he wouldn't intervene.
As expected, there was the sound of footsteps from the living room as Trystan rushed upstairs in a rage.
Greta noticed, too.
She shook her head and sighed. "Why would you do that, Ms. Lawson? Even if you want to make Mr. Lawson angry, you shouldn't mistreat your body."
Bethany knew that she had made a childish decision, but when she thought about the fact that Trystan was only helping her for Megan's sake, she couldn't stand it.
She would find a way to heal her hand on her own. Even if she could no longer draw, she was sure there would be another path for her.
She laughed wryly.
"Mrs. Lawson." Greta couldn't
